Civil Engineer / Water Resources

Position Responsibilities:

  • Carry out evaluations and feasibility studies for Wet Infrastructure (Domestic Water, Wastewater, Storm Water, and Recycled Water).
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance for hydraulic or hydrology analysis to junior level staff.
  • Assist in development of proposals and scopes. Manage/monitor budgets and coordinate with junior level staff.
  • Engineering Analysis for Domestic Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Recycled Water, and Irrigation systems.
  • Engineering Analysis using state-of-the-art hydraulic analysis software. Training will be provided on specialty Digital Twins software.
  • Organize Data on Tables and Figures. Write technical reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, water resources, or environmental engineering.
  • 3+ years experience in hydraulic/hydrology modeling and studies.
  • Knowledge of the following hydraulic or hydrology software is a plus: InfoWater Pro, InfoSWMM, InfoAsset Planner, HEC-RAS, or equivalent software.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required.

GIS Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing spatial data through the use of mapping software.
  • Discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data.
  • Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources.
  • Creating “shapefiles” to merge topographical data with external data by layering external data over a topographical map.
  • Producing maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of data.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a High School Graduate or equivalent (GED), and degree in geography or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of demonstrated ESRI ArcGIS experience.
  • GIS certification or pursuing certification is a requirement.
  • The ability to work accurately to meet deadlines. Good organizational, time management & problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Software, including ArcMap and ArcPro.
  • Knowledge to work with vector and raster datasets.
  • Experience using ArcGIS Online.
  • Familiar with GPS data collection and data management, including ESRI Field Maps.
  • Ability to use and edit shapefiles and geodatabases.
  • Experience working with different coordinate systems, map projections, and datums.
  • Familiarity with standard cartographic methods and principles.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, determine and set job task priorities.
  • Regular and reliable attendance. This position requires working in our Fresno office.
